What You’ll Do

Estimate Job Costs 

• Using customer bid specifications, detail drawings, historical data, and other information prepare accurate job cost analysis including: 
  • Determine work scope, tools, and equipment requirements 
  • Raw Material Costs 
  • Freight Costs 
  • Outside Service and Sub-Contractor Costs 
  • Machine Cycle Times 
  • Fabrication Man-hours 
  • Inspection Man-hours 
  • Assembly Man-hours 
• Prepare and sent quote documents to customers 
• Enter quote data into GSS for tracking purposes 
• Enter router information into GSS 
• Open Jobs for “won” quotes 
• Program CNC Machines to optimize productivity and quality 
• Monitor performance of machine programs and evaluate for opportunities to improve processes. 
• Track job performance and monitor for deviations from quoted times and costs.

 What you’ll need

• 3-4 years relevant experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment
• GSS or other ERP software basic proficiency
• Strong written, verbal and computer skills required
• Computer skills with MS word and excel 
• Must be able to read engineering drawings and bills of material
• Knowledge of current Incoterms for domestic and international shipping
• Ability to interact with vendors and customers, as required
• Demonstrated prior success in achieving results using team driven philosophies
• Demonstrated proficiency in ability to communicate and exercise positive people skills
• Ability to travel domestically and abroad as project requires
