The Project Manager will serve as the MBTA’s lead representative within the Capital Delivery Facility Projects Department, responsible for overseeing projects from inception through completion. Core responsibilities include procuring, managing, and closing out design and construction contracts, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
The Project Manager will also coordinate and communicate with internal and external stakeholders to support both design and construction activities. Throughout the process, they will ensure that quality standards are upheld so that delivered assets meet service expectations for their anticipated lifecycle.
The overarching purpose of these efforts is to achieve safe, resilient, on-budget, and on-schedule delivery of capital projects.
