We’re seeking a Project Manager to support our Project Services / Operations team, based out of our Phoenix, Arizona Corporate Office or Carlsbad, New Mexico Facility.

In this role, you will lead projects from design through construction while ensuring strong safety and environmental compliance, cost control and schedule adherence across all phases of execution.

What You’ll Do

Lead safe and compliant project execution
• Maintain a safe work environment and environmentally responsible project execution.
• Ensure work is completed in accordance with company procedures, technical standards and contract requirements.
• Complete all required project documentation and secure final client acceptance.

Manage scope, cost, and financial performance
• Define and manage project scope aligned with client requirements and approved estimates.
• Manage project budgets, forecasts and cost controls to minimize company risk.
• Review and approve invoices, purchase orders, subcontracts, change orders and project-related expenses.
• Support or lead proposal preparation and obtain client approvals for scope and cost changes.

Drive schedule adherence and resource alignment
• Develop and manage project schedules to meet milestones and delivery commitments.
• Communicate project progress, risks and schedule impacts to management and clients.
• Utilize resource-loading schedules to improve efficiency, timeliness and budget accuracy.
• Align internal priorities across disciplines while incorporating client input.

Serve as the primary point of coordination
• Act as the single point of contact between the company and clients for assigned projects.
• Provide clear, timely communication related to project status, cost impacts and schedule changes.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Construction, Procurement, Operations, Accounting, and HS&E teams.

Qualifications

What You’ll Bring

✔ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Chemical Engineering preferred)
✔ At least 8 years of project management experience, ideally within chemical or industrial environments
✔ Demonstrated ability to deliver projects safely, on schedule and within budget
✔ Strong understanding of balancing scope, schedule and cost trade-offs
✔ Experience managing engineering, construction, procurement and contracting activities
✔ Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications such as P&IDs, piping isometrics and instrumentation diagrams
✔ Strong financial and analytical skills related to forecasting, cost control and change management
✔ Clear communication skills with the ability to engage clients, contractors and internal teams at all levels
✔ A proactive, disciplined approach to planning, risk management and execution
