Project Manager

FMS Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee and lead high-performing trades teams across structural, installation, repairs, welding, fabrication and surface treatment projects. To succeed in this role, you will bring proven experience managing teams across multiple work fronts, including structural repairs, welding repairs, new fabrication works and surface treatment within a brownfields environment. You will demonstrate a strong safety focus, excellent leadership capability, and the ability to coach and mentor your team to deliver high-quality outcomes.

What You’ll Be Doing

In this role, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Overseeing day-to-day operations across multiple work fronts
• Working closely with Supervisors to ensure timeframes and deadlines are met
• Ensuring all work is completed accurately, to specification, and in line with QA processes
• Driving continuous improvement and operational efficiency
• Maintaining and promoting an uncompromising safety culture

Qualifications & Licences

• Relevant Trade Qualification
• Supervisor & G2 Certificates
• Construction White Card
• High Risk Work Licence – Forklift and/or Rigging
• Working at Heights
• Confined Spaces
• Gas Test Atmospheres

Skills & Experience

• Demonstrated experience managing small teams of tradespeople
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent time management and organisational ability
• A commitment to building a positive and cohesive team culture
• A proactive and uncompromising attitude toward safety
