Title: Project Manager
Compensation: Competitive Salary plus Year-end Bonus.

About The Job:
Our client is seeking a Project Manager with experience in construction, specifically within the HVAC or Electrical field. This role is responsible for documentation and production releases of all materials and engineering sold on a job-by-job basis. Strong verbal and communication skills are essential, as you will interface with customers regularly. The Project Manager will coordinate engineering requirements, material selection, and ensure compliance with specifications, while managing cost control and scheduling material releases.
Key responsibilities:
- Coordinate with customers for engineering requirements and material selection
- Produce submittal documentation and specification compliance letters
- Maintain knowledge of product offerings and select appropriate materials
- Manage price protection documentation and cost control opportunities
- Schedule and order material releases in coordination with customers
- Provide operation and maintenance documentation
- Schedule billing of materials
- Comprehend construction plans and specifications; perform material take-offs
- Book jobs, set up/manage job files, and document correspondence
- Price materials using manufacturer software or manual systems
- Manage post-sale job processes, including order entry and billing
- Expedite orders and seek cost-saving opportunities
- Process factory purchases, invoices, and stock sales
- Build relationships with customers, factory personnel, and engineers
- Multi-task and prioritize daily tasks for excellent customer service
- Write quotations and scope letters for customers
- Assist and mentor in the quotation department
- Handle freight claims and credit applications
- Assist in warehouse roles, including inventory and shipping
- Rotational work with other project managers
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred in Engineering)
- Experience in construction within HVAC or Electrical field
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to comprehend and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Proficiency in material selection and documentation
- Organizational and multitasking abilities
- Customer service orientation
