Status: Full-Time, Exempt, Salary


Overview


Leepfrog Technologies is an education technology company headquartered in the Iowa City-Cedar Rapids region in eastern Iowa. We have a team of over 150 professionals who are passionate about higher education and student success.


Leepfrog’s primary product is CourseLeaf, an academic operations platform that supports curriculum, catalog, scheduling, registration, and syllabi management. Over 500 colleges and universities and 5.5 million students are using CourseLeaf to thrive.


The Project Manager is primarily responsible for managing the implementation tasks for client projects. They will serve as a liaison between internal departments and clients to establish and maintain working relationships and seek solutions to technology issues while maintaining high client satisfaction.


Duties

  • Be the focal point for the dissemination of information from Leepfrog to the client and vice versa while implementing a CourseLeaf project.
  • Manage client timelines and tasks, using internal tools and processes.
  • Efficiently allocate incoming requests to the team, prioritizing actions and monitoring team resources so that deadlines are met.
  • Use discretion to effect timely resolution of problems in order to ensure client satisfaction and a quality implementation.
  • Maintain an in-depth working knowledge of Leepfrog software and how it can be configured, customized and implemented to meet client requirements.
  • Work with internal groups to Identify and troubleshoot issues with client application(s) and data.
  • Review, identify, develop, and communicate best practices through continuous assessment and feedback to sustain client satisfaction.
  • Partner with internal teams to help define and drive company initiatives to improve our implementation process.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Requirements

Skills Required

  • Excellent oral and written communication: clear, concise, professional oral communication. Able to communicate across a wide range of internal and external audiences. Exceptional presentation skills is a must.
  • Strong client orientation: ability to prioritize customer needs and provide exceptional customer service to make clients feel valued.
  • Leadership: a demonstrated ability to build strong internal/external department relationships.
  • Planning: ability to forecast, prioritize, and plan over a 3–12-month time span.
  • Organization: must be organized and know how to keep track of milestones with competing priorities.
  • Project Management: the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.

Qualifications


Bachelor’s degree preferred; or five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Project management experience required. PMP certification and experience with ed-tech and curriculum development is a plus.


Physical Requirements


Generally, this position is considered sedentary and will use office equipment, phones, and computers. This position is required to work in the corporate office and may be located in a busy, open area office, faced with regular interruptions.
