Job Description

Turner & Townsend are looking for Project Manager to join our award winning, for Hyderabad cost centre, growing project management team working within Turner & Townsend's team.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate consultancy experience.

Role within the project:

• To lead Project Management Commissions, taking responsibility for end to end service delivery.
• To provide support on major Project Management Commissions, taking responsibility for an aspect of service delivery.
• To ensure that client objectives are met and that projects are delivered to time and cost targets and the appropriate quality standards.

Scope

Project Managers handle commissions of varying sizes, depending upon the complexity of the project, etc.  Typically, projects fall within the Rs5cr to Rs10cr range.  When in a supporting role, the project size may be far greater.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and Monitor construction works, program and accomplishment
• Oversee coordination between AE and GC (Approval of RFI’s, RFA’s, submittals, drawings, samples and mock-ups)
• Oversee GC design, planning and coordination works
• Oversee GC QA/QC management and implementation
• Oversee GC Safety and Security Department management and implementation
• Review and recommend Construction Management Plan (Construction Methods, Planning, Coordination, Quality Control/Assurance, Testing, and implementation Plan).
• Review the working programs and mitigation process in the event of delays

Reporting

• Depending upon context, a Project Manager is likely to report to a Senior Project Manager or Associate Director.

Qualifications

• Education - B.E/ B.Tech – Civil
• Having experience in Data center projects is preferred
• Post Graduate Qualification in relevant field would be an added advantage.
• You should have relevant experience of working for a construction consultancy in India, be degree educated in a relevant construction subject and have good technical skills.
• 5 - 10 years of post-qualification experience in similar role.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
