You’ll need to have: 

  • The ability to obtain SC Clearance

  • Suitable professional experience and training
  • Willingness to travel to Client sites in the region as well as our Manchester office as required

 

You’ll also have: 

  • Membership of RICS, CIOB, APM, ICE or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development.  

  • Experience in the successful delivery phase of projects and programmes in the xxx sector. 

  • Property or infrastructure project management expertise 

  • Commercial and financial acumen.  

  • Experience of working on projects within large, diverse teams.  

  • Experience of developing and forming relationships with other stakeholders within projects 

  • Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape the outlook of the projects you are working on

 As the UK Delivery Team grows in the Defence environment we are expanding our teams across the UK. We are looking for inspirational Project Managers through this next exciting period of growth. To be considered for future opportunities you MUST say yes to ALL of the following:

  • Hold SC clearance or have the ability to obtain it.
  • Be willing to travel to client sites in various UK locations.
  • Hold a sole British UK passport.
  • Have experience working in Defence.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Championing safety, wellbeing, and compliance across all activities.
  • Promoting diversity and inclusion within project teams.
  • Ensuring ethical delivery aligned with Mace values and sustainability goals.
  • Driving continuous improvement and knowledge sharing to enhance performance.
  • Managing project plans from inception to completion, ensuring milestones are met.
  • Overseeing quality systems and compliance with service excellence standards.
  • Controlling budgets, risks, and stakeholder engagement for successful delivery.
  • Managing design and consultant teams to achieve KPIs collaboratively.

You’ll need to have:

  • Previous experience in a project management (or equivalent) role.
  • Professional membership with RICS, CIOB, APM, ICE or equivalent.
  • Experience of NEC4
  • Proven experience in project delivery and stakeholder management.
  • Strong commercial acumen and sustainability awareness.
