What’s the job?
This role provides senior-level project leadership across complex, cross-functional initiatives, translating strategic priorities into clear, executable outcomes. Operating with a high degree of autonomy and accountability, you will lead enterprise-wide programs and projects – often running multiple projects concurrently, embed effective delivery and governance frameworks, and ensure outcomes are delivered sustainably in line with organisational priorities, regulatory requirements, and continuous improvement objectives.
Principal accountabilities are (but not limited to):
Strategic Delivery & Enterprise Leadership: Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex, cross-functional initiatives, translating organisational strategy into executable roadmaps that deliver measurable business, operational, and experience outcomes.
Governance, Risk & Delivery Assurance: Establish and maintain robust governance, reporting, and assurance frameworks, proactively managing risk, issues, and dependencies to ensure compliant, transparent, and predictable delivery.
Portfolio Alignment & Senior Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with executives, sponsors, and portfolio leaders to align project delivery with enterprise priorities, providing clear insights, narrative, and advice to support informed decision-making.
Transformation & Change Enablement: Deliver initiatives that drive organisational, digital, and cultural transformation, embedding change management and continuous improvement practices to ensure sustainable adoption and long-term impact.
Capability, Culture & Ways of Working: Lead through influence across matrixed teams and vendors, fostering accountability, collaboration, and delivery maturity while mentoring others and strengthening enterprise project capability.
Who you are:
Minimum of 15 years’ experience in project management, with a focus on delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
This is a full-time permanent position, preferably based in Sydney or Melbourne. It offers hybrid flexibility to work from a campus near and from home.
