The Opportunity
We�re looking for an experienced Project Manager with 8�10+ years in automation or mission-critical environments to lead control-system projects from proposal through commissioning. You�ll coordinate internal and external teams, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure every deliverable meets Thermo�s standards for quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

What You�ll Do
Project & Commercial Delivery
- Build and manage integrated project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and WIP reports.
- Lead change-order strategy, risk management, and margin control.
- Ensure alignment with contract scope, specifications, and Thermo�s Quality Management System (QMS).
- Deliver projects safely, on time, and under budget while maintaining strong customer relationships.
Field & Commissioning Leadership
- Direct controls installation and commissioning activities (Levels 1�3) in coordination with electrical/mechanical partners.
- Oversee field execution quality, enforce safety standards, and support troubleshooting.
Customer & Team Leadership
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and trade partners.
- Identify new opportunities for scope expansion or future work.
- Provide day-to-day direction for engineers and site teams, fostering a positive, high-trust culture.
What You Bring
- Education: B.S. in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related) or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 8�10+ years of total experience with at least 5 years managing mission-critical control or automation projects.
- Skills:
- Scheduling � Cost Forecasting � Change Control � WIP & Margin Analysis
- Knowledge of PLC/SCADA integration, commissioning, and QA/QC.
- Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder-management abilities.
- Calm under pressure, adaptable to change, and committed to the team�s success.
