It leads the Campus Development Plan to ensure the campus evolves strategically, supporting innovation and the needs of students, staff, and the community. Through careful planning and sustainable design, the team creates a high-quality environment for learning, research, and engagement.
Your New Role!
As a Project Manager Minor Works within the Campus Development portfolio, the role is crucial in driving projects from inception to completion. This position requires a combination of technical expertise, leadership, and strategic oversight to deliver small and minor capital works on time, within scope, and on budget. The Project Manager Minor Works will be responsible for managing external contractors, ensuring all project stages—from planning, design, and procurement through to construction and commissioning—are executed efficiently.
A key aspect of the role involves proactive risk management, stakeholder engagement, and adherence to compliance and safety standards. The ability to coordinate across multiple internal and external stakeholders is essential. The Project Manager must balance competing priorities, ensuring each project aligns with the University's sustainability commitments, operational objectives, and future-focused Campus Development Plan.
