Position Summary

The Project Manager (PM) plays a critical role in supporting and advancing the organization's strategic business initiatives. Under the guidance of Senior Management, the PM is responsible for leading and coordinating cross-functional business projects to ensure successful execution within established timelines and objectives.

This role focuses on driving operational improvements, enhancing customer and employee experiences, and delivering measurable business outcomes. Key responsibilities include conducting cost-benefit analyses, gathering and evaluating project proposals, coordinating vendor due diligence, assessing project-related risks, and managing comprehensive project plans and deliverables.

The PM serves as a liaison between departments, advocating for necessary resources and aligning project goals with broader organizational priorities. Essential duties involve maintaining clear and consistent communication, actively monitoring progress, and providing timely reporting to stakeholders regarding milestones, challenges, and potential impacts to delivery.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee business projects under the direction of Senior Management, using Smartsheet to track progress, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Identify and recommend enhancements to products, services, and delivery channels based on business goals, customer needs, and market trends.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to define requirements, support solution development, and assist with testing and implementation.
  • Develop key project documentation, including plans, budgets, risk assessments, training materials, and closure reports.
  • Analyze workflows and processes to improve efficiency, reporting, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Coordinate with Compliance, IT, and Security to ensure regulatory and policy adherence.
  • Monitor project milestones, resolve issues, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Assist in setting success metrics and tracking project outcomes.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and emerging opportunities.
  • Provide timely updates and reports to Senior Management and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate integrity, accountability, and professionalism in all responsibilities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Excellent organizational, time management, and presentation skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experienced in Smartsheet or similar platforms.

Supervisory Responsibility:

  • Manage team assigned to project.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, or Technology-related discipline
  • Experience: 5+years of Banking and project management
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar Technology and Agile focused certification

Essential job functions include the employee occupying this position frequently will be required to perform problem resolution and communicate with both internal and external customers. The employee must be able to remain in a stationary position 50 percent of the time; frequently operate a telephone, computer, printer, copier, and fax machine; and occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
