The Role

This is an opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to make a real impact as part of a Global Transformation initiative. Reporting to the Program Manager (Transformation Projects) you will support, plan, and manage Oracle Fusion ERP implementation and drive success in meeting project deliverables. This includes:

  • Management of IT Projects ensuring that proper governance, processes and controls are in place and that project outcomes meet expectations

  • Monitor compliance to corporate policies and standards and ensure the quality of delivered solutions

  • Project governance and budget management

  • Stakeholder management and engagement (internal/external)

What we are looking for

We are seeking the right individual who has the traits and competencies to take accountability for the definition, approach, facilitation and successful completion of Transformation Projects.

The right candidate will have the ability to:

  • Plan projects from conception to implementation, and then closure.

  • Map out timelines making educated decisions based on forecasting for resource availability and dependencies

  • Proven capability navigating around risks, yet also anticipating threats to effectively mitigate with stakeholders before an issue arises, always keeping a win:win outcome in mind

  • Firm understanding of the financial constraints which need to be worked within, transparency and openness to communicating and managing the expected scope creep and organisational expectations in relation to budget tracking

  • Communicate with all stakeholders from facilitation of kick off meetings, status updates and retrospectives – the ability to skilfully manage objections while empowering stakeholders is essential as is documenting outcomes, minutes and following up on action items. Keeping your stakeholders informed of the progress of the project plan, timeline, budget and latest happenings is essential

  • Troubleshoot problems and challenges, even the best laid plans fall apart. Are you a person who can develop solutions to keep the project moving forward, rebound quickly and roll with the punches while exercising your collaboration skills to rally the team around the project vision, coordinating tasks, and ensuring everybody works together effectively

  • Delivery and time management is key for this role, having the ability to keep track of all the moving pieces across multiple projects and management of your own time, and the time and capacity of all the project participants.

  • Ability to step back and cross-check that the necessary governance and controls are in place: including

  • Validating frequent quality reviews according to procedure

  • Project deliverables are completed within agreed costs, timescale and resource budgets and where defined, tracked and formally accepted by appropriate stakeholders

  • Acting where performance deviates from agreed tolerances

Minimum experience and qualifications:

  • 5+ years demonstrated experience in large scale Project Management

  • PMP, Prince2, AgilePM (highly desired)
