Job Overview
Crownover Company Inc. is seeking an experienced and well-rounded Project Manager to lead and deliver residential construction projects to the highest standards. This role manages multiple projects from pre-construction through final walkthrough, balancing field operations with administrative precision.

The ideal candidate brings at least 5 years of hands-on residential construction experience and demonstrates strong capabilities in project scheduling, budgeting, client communication, and team leadership. This is a key role where your attention to detail, ability to proactively manage risks, and commitment to excellence will ensure projects are completed on time, on budget, and with an exceptional client experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning
    • Develop comprehensive project plans for all assigned Phase 1 and Phase 2 projects (P1 & P2), including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
    • Act as the primary liaison between clients, subcontractors, trade partners, and internal teams.
    • Coordinate field execution with quality, safety, and client satisfaction in mind.
    • Collaborate with PEs to review drawings and ensure accuracy and feasibility.
    • Create estimates, bid requests, and purchase orders.
  • On-Site Management
    • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety.
    • Proactively resolve on-site issues to keep projects on track.
    • Keep Buildertrend updated with project activity, schedules, and documentation.
    • Enforce quality assurance and health & safety compliance.
    • Drive project momentum to avoid slack time and maximize efficiency.
  • Project Administration
    • Monitor project expenditures and ensure budget adherence.
    • Manage financial aspects of projects: invoicing, change orders, budget tracking.
    • Review and negotiate contracts with vendors and subcontractors.
    • Maintain accurate project documentation in Buildertrend.
    • Identify opportunities to improve processes and drive operational efficiency.
  • Selections
    • Guide clients through material and finish selections in collaboration with architects and designers.
    • Maintain accurate records of client selections in Buildertrend.
    • Ensure timely ordering and delivery of selected materials.
    • Stay current with design trends and provide clients with innovative options.
    • Communicate selection updates regularly to clients and internal teams.
  • Client Relationships
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during Phase 2.
    • Provide regular project updates and address client concerns promptly.
    • Foster trust and transparency through consistent communication.
    • Ensure projects are delivered in alignment with client vision and expectations.
    • Promote a united team front and consistently represent the brand.
  • Safety & Compliance
    • Proactively manage project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
    • Implement quality control procedures and enforce site safety.
    • Maintain strict adherence to health and safety regulations and promote a culture of safety.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on residential construction experience.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong skills in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and problem-solving.
  • Excellent ability to balance field operations with administrative rigor.
  • Experience working with Buildertrend or similar project management platforms.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized with a proactive mindset.
  • Exceptional communication and client service skills.
  • Ability to lead subcontractors and collaborate effectively with internal teams.
