Project Manager - Technical
Curtiss-WrightWe are looking for a Project Manager – Technical to join our Pittsburgh (Cheswick) location.
Your Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will play a key role within the assigned business segment supporting customer deliverables. The individual in this position will develop and control schedule and budget on assigned projects, as well as being designated as the point of contact for customer communications, meetings and questions. This position requires interaction with engineering, manufacturing, project management office, planning, quality assurance, contracts, and finance to address all project actions.
Salary: $99,000 - $143,000.00 per year

Your Challenge:
Manage, coordinate, and oversee critical suppliers and interact with sourcing department to ensure program success.
Understand and ensure successful execution on major machine design program.
Manage, coordinate and control Project Work Plan execution to achieve project technical, cost and schedule objectives.
Efficiently and effectively work towards goals in a complex, diverse environment with multiple constraints.
Lead the project team and regular project meetings to monitor and drive progress toward project objectives.
Maintain effective customer communications, ensuring that all customer requirements and expectations are addressed effectively.
Address and resolve project issues pertaining to project work scope, technical requirements, quality, schedule, resource assignments, cost customer interface and other project related activities.
Communicate project progress, issues, and/or resolution options to project team members’ customers and EMD management.
Review and control project cost, including the coordination and certification of Estimate at Complete dates.
Develop and monitor the Project Risk Management Plan as part of project planning and execution
What You Bring:
Bachelor Degree in Engineering or equivalent with appropriate course complete to support a project management team.
Five (5) to seven years of related experience.
Project management or project leadership experience.
Excellent organization, communication (written and oral) and presentation skills.
Knowledge of basic manufacturing processes and procedures.
Project Management Professional Certification.
Due to DoD requirements, candidates must be US citizens.
Must be able to obtain and maintain DOD security clearance.
