Your Opportunity 

Stantec is seeking a motivated and experienced Project Manager to join our growing Water business in Atlanta, Georgia. This mid-career role is ideal for professionals with 10–15 years of experience, particularly those with a strong background in linear capital construction utility projects such as water and wastewater pipelines, pump stations, and conveyance systems.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design, and delivery of linear utility infrastructure projects, including water and wastewater pipelines and related systems.
• Manage project scope, budget, and schedule across multiple concurrent projects.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams through all project phases—from proposals and feasibility studies to final design and construction support.
• Oversee contract terms, cost tracking, and schedule adherence to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Support proposal development, pricing strategies, and risk reviews to secure new work.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service and communication.
• Mentor junior staff and support the development of future leaders.
• Promote collaboration across business lines and geographic regions.

Your Capabilities and Credentials

• Proven experience managing linear capital construction utility projects (e.g., water/wastewater pipelines, pump stations, conveyance systems).
• Strong organizational, planning, and execution skills from project pursuit through closeout.
• Ability to make sound business decisions and solve complex technical and logistical challenges.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Passion for team leadership, mentorship, and collaboration.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science, or a related technical field.
• 10–15 years of relevant professional experience, including at least 5 years managing infrastructure projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or ability to obtain within 1 year preferred.
