We're currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Assistant to join our dynamic team and help support our procurement process.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the procurement of AV equipment, supplies, and accessories to ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing decisions.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, purchase orders, and supplier contracts.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to understand product requirements and deadlines.
  • Handle purchase orders, delivery schedules, and invoices, ensuring smooth communication between suppliers and the company.
  • Monitor stock levels and manage reorder processes to prevent shortages or overstocking.
  • Work with vendors to negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and returns when necessary.
  • Process returns and exchanges for damaged or incorrect items.
  • Assist in managing the purchasing budget and tracking expenses.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, new AV products, and emerging technologies.

  

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in purchasing, inventory management, or supply chain roles, preferably within the AV or technology industry.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to work well with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Experience with purchasing software or ERP systems is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of AV products and technologies is highly desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory and purchase orders.
  • Ability to problem-solve and troubleshoot purchasing or inventory issues quickly and efficiently.
  • A proactive attitude and a desire to continuously improve purchasing processes.
