Eram Talent is seeking a skilled Rig Material Expeditor to join our team in Saudi Arabia. As a Rig Material Expeditor, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient delivery and management of drilling materials to various rig locations. Your role will be crucial in supporting the operations and logistics of our projects in the region.
Rig Material Expeditor shall:
a) Adhere to all Saudi Aramco, D&WO and international HSE standards, policies and administrative controls.
b) Monitors the progress and shipment of drilling material. Obtains and inputs order status information in to system.
c) Maintains material and parts inventory and status information to expedite movement of material and parts between production areas, per predetermined production schedules and maintains order priorities.
d) He reads production schedules, inventory reports, and work orders to determine type and quantity of materials required, availability of stock, and order priority. Maintains Material Status, checks discrepancies etc.
e) He distributes materials to specified production areas, manually or using handcart, hand truck, or forklift. He may also drive truck to outlying work areas to check status of orders or to deliver materials.
f) Conducts a daily review of assigned expeditor workload queue to ascertain which orders are to be actioned based on delivery date priorities.
g) Consolidates orders by vendors, in order to minimize the number of Contracts, and contracts the vendor status information or to Expedite material. Maintains constant contact with major vendors who routinely have large number of open orders.
h) Enters and maintain current order/LDOR status information in system.
i) Identifies as early as possible, any delays which may cause a delay in vendor’s delivery date, and advises as required.
j) Reviews conflicting delivery requirements and assures that orders are delivered in the most cost effective manner to Saudi Aramco.
k) Monitors the status and delivery of material and inspection certificates.
l) Periodically advises the supervisor on overall vendor performance for each vendor with whom the expeditors has regular contact.
m) Prepare written reports of poor vendor performance.
n) Maintains records and files and perform related clerical duties as necessary.
o) Prepare tables, indices, charts, graphs and other visual aids for use in presentations.
p) Assists in the preparation of various reports as requested by the superintendent / Supervisor.
