Duty/Role – Rigout Lead [ Bi-Lingual Preferred] 

Job Description – The Rigout Lead will oversee and manage Rigout employees and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and quantity expectations. This role is critical to the completion of production goals; this individual will benefit from any experience with the parts and pieces associated with operational use of O&G production/separation equipment. We are seeking someone who can not only do the work physically but also build up the team around them to successfully develop into a strong business unit. The ability to assemble all the parts and pieces of a project based on a CAD, P&ID as well as Identify short comings ahead of time are key factors expected of this role. Rate of Pay – $22.00/HR - $26.00/HR 


L&L Fabrication is an ASME Code vessel shop Holding U and R stamps. We offer ASME-coded work built to spec, along with repairs and maintenance on used pressure-rated equipment.

Expected Roles/Responsibilities: 

  • Must be able to verify and know that valves are installed in the correct direction for flow. 
  • Trains and manages Rigout employees on the assigned tasks and expectations. 
  • Oversees the daily workflow and assignments of the Rigout Crew. 
  • Provides constructive feedback and information to team members on the status of jobs, and needs associated. 
  • Lead from a sense of understanding and urgency, in alignment with business needs.  
  • Aids in the teaching and understanding of the company or customer engineered drawings to Rigout Team, ensuring that product is built out to expectations.  
  • Oversees production operations on assigned shift. 
  • Ability to read and interpret Blueprints, P&ID’s, as well as instruct team on proper installation.  
  • Maintains knowledge of processes, equipment, parts; as well as why something is used in a specific location. 
  • Ensures that torque requirements are identifiable and marked appropriately, understands and utilizes appropriate torquing patterns during bolt up situations. 
  • Troubleshoots issues that arise. 
  • Notifies team members of equipment problems. 
  • Ensures that RO staff comply with applicable safety regulations, policies, and procedures. 
  • Ensures paperwork, email, and time punching is completed correctly. 
  • Use, understand, and define the tools needed for completion of job at hand; while training those to accomplish the task safely and efficiently.  
  • Bi-Lingual preferred, (Spanish and English) ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken word.  
  • Performs other related duties as assigned. 
Requirements

 

Requirements for the Role: 

  • Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production operations and machinery.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate. 
  • Ability to read and interpret Drawings/Blueprints.  
  • Ability to navigate multiple forms of technology (mobile, laptop, printed information) 
  • Willingness to ask questions when something is not fully understood 

Physical Requirements: 

  • Must be able to travel around the production facility. 
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds at a time, 75 pounds frequently with support, 100 pounds occasionally with support, and 110+ pounds infrequently with support.  
  • Must be able to stoop, crouch, kneel, squat.  
  • Must be able to endure the elements; position is primarily outdoors exposed to wind, rain, heat, snow, and other natural elements.  
  • Be able to work with manual dexterity and up close.
