Role Overview

The Rig Sales Service Specialist will increase regional awareness of the company's capabilities and product offerings through implementing a strategic sales initiative, resulting in the growth of existing customer relationships and the creation of a pipeline to new relationships.  


Responsibilities

  • Maintain sales and service standards across multiple customers. 
  • Evaluate rig performance to determine job site visits and strategy. 
  • Organize a daily schedule of visits to different sites and customers. 
  • Travel to rig sites to analyze current product needs, make product recommendations, build and present orders, and ensure customer needs are met from a product and service level standpoint. 
  • Optimize sales opportunities while delivering equipment to customers. 
  • Provide outstanding customer service by anticipating needs, answering customer questions, and outlining product knowledge, prices, availability, and uses. 
  • Establish pricing, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates. 
  • Consult with clients after sales or contract signings to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support. 
  • Performs additional duties as required and assigned.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED, Bachelor’s Degree preferred, advanced a plus.
  • 3+ years of sales experience in the same or similar industry; previous Oil & Gas/Energy preferred.
  • Previous Oil & Gas/Energy Industry experience is preferred.
  • Computer literate; Proficient with MS Office 365.
  • Intermediate level MS Office Suite and distribution-specific ERP systems skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate [written and verbal]. 
  • Thrives in a collaborative team environment. 
  • Detail-oriented work style comfortable with multiple priorities being juggled while maintaining a consistent work approach. 
  • Physical requirements: sitting, standing, walking, lifting to 50 lbs., carrying, reaching, pushing, and pulling, enduring frequent exposure to outside weather conditions.
  • A valid Driver’s License is required.
  • Ability to pass a background check, MVR check, and drug test.
