Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Rigger to join our dynamic team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a crucial member of our organization, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient lifting and moving of heavy equipment and materials on our job sites.

• Inspect and prepare loads for movement, ensuring compliance with safety standards
• Set up, align, and level heavy equipment machinery with precision
• Select and prepare appropriate rigging gear, including beams, pulleys, clamps, and bolts
• Conduct thorough inspections of rigging equipment before and after use
• Maneuver loads using heavy equipment machinery and manual techniques
• Monitor and maintain rigging equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Ensure strict compliance with OSHA, local, and company safety procedures
• Collaborate effectively with the rigging and construction team members
• Communicate clearly and efficiently with team members during operations
• Adapt to working in Dubai's climate conditions, including high temperatures and occasional sandstorms
• Break down rigging equipment and conduct post-rigging inspections
• Stay updated on the latest rigging techniques and safety protocols

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid rigging certification
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a rigger in a similar role
• In-depth knowledge of rigging equipment, heavy machinery, and safety procedures
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and local UAE safety regulations
• Excellent physical fitness with the ability to lift heavy equipment
• Strong mathematical skills for load calculations and equipment setup
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Ability to work efficiently at heights and in noisy environments
• Excellent hearing and vision capabilities
• Strong collaborative skills and ability to work effectively in a team
• Adaptability to work outdoors in harsh weather conditions, particularly in Dubai's climate
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make quick, informed decisions
