• Safely rig, lift, and move heavy equipment, steel structures, piping, and other components as per lifting plans.
• Interpret rigging and lifting drawings, load charts, and instructions from the lifting supervisor or engineer.
• Inspect lifting gear (slings, shackles, hooks, chains, etc.) prior to each use to ensure integrity and safety.
• Select the correct rigging equipment based on the weight, size, shape, and lift method of the load.
• Signal crane operators using standard hand signals or radio communication during lifting operations.
• Coordinate with crane operators, supervisors, and ground crew for safe and precise load positioning.
• Set up and dismantle rigging equipment at various job sites.
• Ensure compliance with company safety procedures, lifting plans, and local regulations.
• Maintain rigging equipment and report any damages or defects immediately.
• Participate in toolbox talks, risk assessments, and pre -lift meetings.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Oil and Gas as a rigger.
• Should have valid Third -Party Certificate.
