This class within the department is to review, process, approve, inspect and enforce right of way permits and work performed within the public right of way. Provides oversight to land development, public and private utility construction, and the City’s capital improvement projects. This class develops and recommends implementation of policies relating to management, quality control, standards of conformance, construction administration, and fiscal control.

The working conditions may include environmental hazards.
