Brightisle is seeking a skilled, compassionate, and proactive Safety and Wellness Lead to drive our health, safety, and wellness efforts forward.
In this role, you’ll bring your expertise in occupational health, disability management, and WorkplaceNL’s PRIME program to shape safe, inclusive environments where employees feel supported, empowered, and able to thrive. This isn’t just about meeting standards — it’s about creating a culture where safety is instinctive, well-being is prioritized, and people thrive because of it.
As the Safety and Wellness Lead you will:
As the Safety and Wellness Lead you will be responsible for the OHS program. We will look to you to ensure our operations are safe because of your knowledge of OHS legislation, WPNL’s PRIME program and best practise and your passion for ensuring employees feel safe and supported while at work. You will help develop and maintain our Health and Safety Program including hazard assessments, incident reporting and investigation, data collection and analysis and safety training. You’ll play a key role in fostering a culture of wellness by promoting safe work practices, supporting mental and physical well-being initiatives, and helping to create a healthy, inclusive environment where staff and clients can thrive.
