Position Summary

The Sales Growth Project Manager plays an important role in the organization by performing a number of activities related to the company’s National Retail Business Development functions. This role is primarily responsible for, under moderate to intermittent supervision, for coordinating various activities, projects, reporting and tasks on behalf of the Director, Retail Sales Operations.

Essential Functions

  • Organize and analyze recruiting metric to generate routine ad hoc reporting to management.
  • Support recruiting efforts by researching potential high-profile recruits, offices, companies, and following up with top talent requests, as needed.
  • Facilitate Salesforce and Outreach New Hire Training for Business Development Managers (BDM); serve as main point of contact for system related questions.
  • Manage the professional development program by collating educational material for BDM team and organizing training sessions by designated topics.
  • Build relationships with BMD team to help resolve potential problems and issues accordingly.
  • Assist with coordinating recruiting team events.
  • Draft and submit written materials to internal department updates to announce, inform, and educate employees on accomplishments and activities occurring within the department.
  • Design and administer monthly and quarterly employee recognition program(s) for employees within the department.
  • Administer the Competitive Analysis Insights survey to new loan officers and update company details in Salesforce.
  • Administer Loan Officer Profile Requests to all Branch Managers to ensure BMDs provide the right candidates to managers.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining the BDM Training materials, as needed.
  • Update and distribute quarterly Branch Stats Sheets to BDM team and Tier Data by State/Guild Data by State documentation.
  • Partner with the FMM on social media announcements for Guild.
  • Lead BDM meetings in the absence of the Director, Strategic Retail Growth as needed.
  • Provide extensive administrative support to the department, including new hiring processes, communication scheduling support, event and travel coordination, expense reports, etc.
  • Track, collect, organize, audit, analyze, and prepare several reports for the department pertaining to recruiting metrics, process flows and documentation, feedback, and other relevant recruiting department activities.
  • Perform other tasks and work on other special projects as needed.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree directly related to the position or equivalent, preferred. 
    • Minimum five years' experience in human resources experience with focus on strategic planning and project management.
    • Strong understanding the complexity of mortgage industry and various departments (Compliance, Operations, Sales, Marketing, etc.)
    • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities simultaneously. 
    • Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
    • Intermediate math skills required.
    • Intermediate MS Excel analysis skills.
    • Moderate to intermittent supervision required, depending on experience.
    • Moderate level of independent judgment and discretion used in decision-making, depending on experience.
    • Escalate more complex issues for advice and resolution.
    • Use sound judgment in executing core job responsibilities.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
    • Highly organized and detail-oriented; ability to work in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment required.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, Wiki, collaborative cloud-based programs, and third-party software applications required.

    Supervision

    Requirements

    Physical: Work is primarily sedentary; mobility in an office setting.

    Manual Dexterity: Frequent use of computer keyboard and mouse.

     

    Audio/Visual: Ability to accurately interpret sounds and associated meanings at a volume consistent with interpersonal conversation. Regularly required to accurately perceive, distinguish and interpret information received visually and through audio, e.g., words, numbers and other data broadcasted aloud/viewed on a screen, as well as print and other media. 

    Environmental: Office environment – moderate noise, no substantial exposure to adverse environmental conditions.

    Mental: Learn new tasks, remember processes, maintain focus, complete tasks independently, and make timely decisions in the context of a workflow. This role requires effective adaptation to workplace stressors, including customer service complaints, security responsibilities, and competing priorities. Must be able to adhere to process protocol. Must be able to apply established protocols in a timely manner.

    Schedules: Work is primarily performed during the business week, Monday - Friday.

    Targeted Salary Range: $50,000 - $85,000 annually
