The role of Senior Business Development Manager, Offshore Wind is open, and we are looking for our new colleague to join our team in Copenhagen and fast-track the Stillstrom journey in bringing our innovative offshore charging solutions to the market and seize the oceans, cement our market leadership, and build the industry of offshore charging in the maritime sector.
Stillstrom is in an exciting position where the focus for 2025 and beyond is commercialization of its offshore charging products in offshore wind. The Senior Business Development Manager, Offshore Wind will be pivotal in turning our client engagements into full project contracts. We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Development Manager to lead interactions with clients on complex projects where the expectation is that you lead the engagement and commercial negotiations while ensuring that the technical, legal and operational stakeholders are engaged and working in co-operation.
As Senior Business Development Manager you will also have the responsibility to develop new business opportunities with clients and to take ownership in our journey of transforming groundbreaking concept for charging solutions into a commercial success within the offshore wind segment.
We offer an exciting role with immediate responsibilities and impact on Stillstrom results, as well as room to grow in an early-stage venture company owned by AP Møller Mærsk with a dynamic, competent and international team growing to ca. 20 colleagues. The position will be part of the Stillstrom Commercial team in Copenhagen, and you will report directly to the CCO and have a close collaboration with stakeholders across Stillstrom.

Core responsibilities
Build, manage, and maintain relationships with clients which is predominantly developers within offshore wind; and further develop relationships into key accounts
Own the full commercial sales cycle of a project from lead to aftersales, incl. contract negotiations of complex B2B project sales.
Build, manage and maintain relationships with partners and stakeholders including major energy companies, vessel designers, vessel owners and adjacent technology companies.
Strengthen relationships with relevant key stakeholders internally and externally, to support meeting the commercial objectives
Build complex business cases with our clients to show offshore charging benefits, to eventually partake in feasibility and FEED studies to allow our clients to take a final investment decision.
Drive participation and engagement in selected industry events within target segments in collaboration with our Head of Marketing & Communications
Own and maintain the offshore wind pipeline. Build and maintain internal commercial updates to management with CCO.
Frequent travel should be expected to our key regions EU and UK
Your profile
We imagine you are an energetic self-starter that want to be part of an exciting team journey, and comes with a background like below:
7-10 years’ experience within technical sales, and high value CAPEX project sales ideally from engaging with offshore wind developers
Experience from B2B or B2G with a proven track record within similar space (offshore wind, cleantech, maritime is considered a plus).
The ideal candidate would have knowledge of offshore wind within O&M, offshore wind operations at sea, and/or vessel management
Relevant business degree (min. bachelor), or technical degree with an MBA
Deep understanding of and experience with:
Leading sales for an industry or segment with responsibility of both developing leads, nurturing key clients and negotiations
Structuring of overall sales process for solution-based selling (long-term value and lifecycle benefits)
Pipeline execution managing complex, long-cycle sales processes with multiple decision-makers and metrics driven with hands-on experience with advanced sales tools (e.g., Salesforce or similar) and analytics to drive efficiency and insights
Drafting, negotiating, and managing commercial agreements
Allocation of commercial and execution risk between employer and contractor
Structuring of aftersales offering
Development of internal negotiation and pricing tools
Management of technical interface to the engineering department
