This role is for a Senior Irrigation Design Engineer to contribute to growing Landscape Design Studio ME team delivering Landscape and Irrigation design for projects including Field Irrigation networks: Secondary and Tertiary lines (Drip and sprinkler systems), and Automatic control systems / Smart Irrigation.
Provide Irrigation design and calculations and ensure that all designs and drawings are checked and reviewed to the required standards, specifications and quality.
Ensure clear understanding of project scope and deliverables to be produced. Assist Principal engineer and Landscape Architect and ensure projects are completed on time and meet prescribed project deadlines as assigned.
Provide regular work status updates, including project progress, risks, issues, concerns, or changes to the line manager. Respond to/tracks Senior Engineer, LM, or ME Counterpart complaints/concerns.
Attend and contribute to team and project meetings as required. Contribute to team building and maintaining the positive team morale. Maintain focus and integrity towards the delivery of CRC's strategy.
Work in coordination with all other design team member. Coordinate with and direct BIM Technicians concerning requirements and timelines. Contribute to multiple projects in clear concise/coordinated manner.
Stay updated with relevant technical developments within the discipline. Ensure weekly submission of timesheets. Ensure that Health & Safety is embedded into all work practices in line with company policies.
Support the companies approach to sustainability.
Identify improvements (where possible) to enhance WSP ME service to clients.
Key Competencies
Mandatory Skills
Experience in a consulting firm / Landscape consulting firm of about 5 - 10 years, delivering designs and calculations of Irrigation systems including Field Irrigation networks: Secondary and Tertiary lines (Drip and sprinkler systems), and Automatic control systems / Smart Irrigation.
Experience in using Water CAD / Irri CAD.
Experience in using BIM modelling / Revit
Experienced with Landscape design projects support.
Awareness about GCC Irrigation standards and manuals.
Computer literate, with experience of appropriate modelling software or equivalent Excel spreadsheet calculations.
Good English communication skills are essential.
The candidate must have a valid passport and be prepared to be seconded for up to 2 - 3 months in the Middle East as projects dictate. The preferred home base for the Candidate will be Bangalore

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in irrigation system design and the ability to support the landscape design team.
Previous project experience in any GCC countries, including coordinating with MEP and other disciplines
Rain CAD, Civil 3D, Revit and BIM modelling
Qualifications
At least BEng (Civil or Environmental Engineering) with a minimum of 5 - 10 years of relevant experience.
