Role : Senior IT Project Manager Cyber Security

📍 Location: Kraków, Poland

🕒 Work Model: Hybrid

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead and deliver strategic Cyber Security projects. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who thrives in complex, cross-functional environments and is passionate about driving impactful change in cybersecurity.

You will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of projects—from planning and execution to delivery—while collaborating closely with business and IT stakeholders. You may also lead a small team and mentor junior project managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership

Lead large-scale, strategic Cyber Security projects and programs.

Define project scope, objectives, success criteria, and deliverables.

Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations.

  • Financial Oversight

Own project budgets, forecasts, and actuals.

Ensure financial alignment with business goals.

  • Planning & Execution

Develop detailed project plans including Work Breakdown Structures (WBS).

Estimate resources and costs, track milestones, and manage timelines.

  • Reporting & Communication

Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and progress.

Ensure transparency and alignment across teams and leadership.

  • Scope & Quality Management

Handle scope changes and ensure high-quality deliverables.

Maintain clear documentation and consistent stakeholder communication.

  • Team & Stakeholder Management

Motivate and guide project teams; facilitate meetings and task assignments.

Balance business and IT needs; manage direct reports (if applicable).

Mentor junior project managers and contribute to team development.

  • Agile & Methodology Expertise

Apply Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies as appropriate.

Act as Scrum Master when needed; promote Agile best practices.

  • PMO Advocacy

Serve as a subject matter expert in project management.

Contribute to PMO policies, procedures, and governance.

Qualifications & Skills :

🎓 Education & Certifications

Bachelor’s degree required.

PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe or equivalent certification preferred.

💼 Experience :

Minimum 10 years in IT project management.

At least 8 years managing complex IT projects.

Experience in a Project Management Office (PMO).

Previous leadership of project teams; direct report management is a plus.

🛠️ Technical & Business Skills

Proficient in MS Project, Visio, and Microsoft 365 tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams).

Strong understanding of business processes in Finance, Sales, Supply Chain, and HR.

Familiarity with Organizational Change Management (OCM) best practices.

🤝 Soft Skills

Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

Ability to influence stakeholders and drive consensus.
