The individual will coordinate portfolio governance, facilitate prioritization and approval processes, track integration progress and synergy realization, and provide leadership with actionable insights for decision-making.
This position requires a blend of portfolio management expertise, and program execution discipline. M&A integration experience is a plus. • Facilitate portfolio review boards and executive steering committees.
  • Develop and maintain portfolio dashboards tracking health, spend, risks, dependencies, and resource utilization.
  • Enforce PMO standards: project charters, stage-gates, RAID logs, and consistent reporting.
  • Partner with Finance and Resource Managers to align budget, capacity, and demand management.
Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Act as a bridge between leaders and delivery teams, translating strategy into actionable execution.
  • Provide coaching and support to project managers and functional work stream leads.
  • Drive a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement across PMO.
Qualifications
Education & Certifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, IT, or related field required; MBA preferred.
  • PMP, PgMP, or PfMP required. Agile certifications (CSM, SAFe) preferred.
  • Change management certification (e.g., PROSCI) a plus.
Experience
  • 8–10+ years of experience in program and portfolio management, with at least 2–3 years enterprise transformation experience.
  • Demonstrated success in standing up PMOs or managing portfolios in dynamic, multi-project environments.
  • Strong experience in cross-functional governance, executive reporting, and resource management.
  • Exposure to corporate finance concepts (ROI, synergies, cost savings).
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in portfolio/project tools (e.g., Jira, SharePoint, Visio, MS Project).
  • Strong analytical/reporting skills (e.g., Excel, Power B).
  • Familiarity with IT systems integration, ERP migrations, or HR/Finance system consolidations preferred.
Soft Skills
  • Executive presence with ability to facilitate difficult prioritization discussions.
  • Strong communicator, both written and verbal, across technical and business audiences.
  • Ability to influence without direct authority and drive alignment across diverse stakeholders.
  • High adaptability, resilience, and comfort operating in ambiguous environments.
