Role description:

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Environmental Project Manager for a full-time position to support our Resilience Environment team at our office in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. This position will manage projects across many sectors, commercial and industrial projects with input from technical experts, including those executed under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) and Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) requirements. This position will require some travel to project sites to assist clients with project planning and implementation.

Role accountabilities:

As a project manager, you will be responsible for managing scope, schedule, and budget for multiple environmental restoration projects simultaneously, both large and small scale from investigation and alternatives analysis to implementation of selected remediation approach. You will lead teams across various project phases, including site assessments, field investigations, feasibility studies, removal actions, remedial designs, and optimization of post-remedy long-term-monitoring and long-term operations/maintenance for environmental remediation projects. This role requires you to interface regularly with client and regulatory agencies, as well as support portfolio managers with financial management. You will also support the growth of the business by working in conjunction with market sector leaders and account leaders in developing and maintaining client relationships to help further Arcadis positioning on upcoming programs and projects. This includes pursuit management and preparing technical approaches and cost estimates. 

This role will primarily be office based; however, as needed, you will need to conduct field assignments associated with project site walks and pursuits. This role will require the ability to travel up to 25%. 

Qualifications & Experience:

Required 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Engineering, or closely related field.
  • A minimum of 12 years of experience in Environmental consulting 

Preferred

  • PE, PG, or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
