Join the App PMO team at Perficient as a Program Manager, overseeing the planning, organization, and execution of complex digital programs and projects across engineering, product, business teams and in some instances, external technology and/or business partners. This is primarily a remote work position, but will need to be occasionally on client site in the financial district in New York City.
Monitor daily project activities, ensuring responsibilities and schedules are maintained, and develop contingency plans for potential risks.
Lead, direct, and motivate project teams to achieve defined objectives.
Evaluate and manage deliverables to ensure delivery and service expectations are attainable, developed, and consistently met.
Track project outcomes, identifying and addressing significant deviations from plans.
Ensure adherence to established quality standards and processes throughout project lifecycles.
Participate regularly in stakeholder and VP-level meetings, providing updates and insights.
Planning: Mastery of operational, tactical (10+ years), and strategic (5+ years) planning to support business objectives.
Project Administration: Deep knowledge of best practices and tools for effective project administration.
Decision Making & Critical Thinking: Ability to analyze complex situations and make productive decisions using informed judgment.
Data Gathering & Reporting: Expertise in collecting and reporting data within departments or divisions.
Implementation: Proficient in deploying application software to help end-users fulfill specific tasks, such as accounting or graphic design.
IT Project Control & Reporting: Skilled at monitoring progress and delivery schedules of IT projects.
IT Project Management: Advanced ability to plan, organize, monitor, and manage IT projects using appropriate technical resources.
IT Standards, Procedures & Policies: Detailed understanding of IT standards and policies, employing administrative and technical skills to manage organizational IT requirements.
Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support data-informed task execution.
A solid understanding of AI capabilities and limitations including ethical considerations is expected
Preferred Qualifications
Typically holds a college or university degree in computer science, information systems, or a closely related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
Over 10 years’ experience working with software engineering teams in agile environments.
Demonstrated expertise in project management concepts, including developing project charters, scheduling, and successfully completing projects.
Extensive technical and project management background in application development, encompassing systems hardware, software, cloud applications, support and development methodologies, business planning, and customer application needs (usually 10+ years).
Familiarity with Azure DevOps (formerly VSTS) and Confluence.
Excellent interpersonal skills for handling sensitive issues, developing staff, and influencing internal and external stakeholders.
Outstanding communication and presentation abilities.
Change Management Certification preferred.
Six Sigma Black Belt Certification is desirable.
Advanced knowledge of Power BI is highly desirable.
PMP certification preferred.
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) preferred.
Prior agile training (sprint planning, daily scrums, sprint reviews, retrospectives) is advantageous.

The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $81,978 to $178,090.
