About the role:

 

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in project management, particularly within the software development industry, and will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects efficiently and effectively.

 

A day in this role:

 

  • Project Planning and Scheduling: Develop comprehensive project plans that outline scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, budget, and timing.
  • Team Coordination: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure all project requirements are understood and met. Facilitate effective collaboration among team members, ensuring clear communication of goals, timelines, and responsibilities.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Budget Management: Manage project budgets, ensuring projects are delivered within financial constraints. Track and report on project costs and make recommendations for budget adjustments as needed.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, providing updates on project status, addressing concerns, and ensuring alignment with project goals. Prepare and deliver presentations and status reports to stakeholders.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that project deliverables meet the required quality standards and are delivered on time. Implement quality control measures throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and risk logs. Provide regular project updates to senior management and stakeholders.

 

The expertise requested:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the software development industry.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Trello).
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is preferred.

Desired or nice to have expertise:

 

  • Experience with Agile project management and familiarity with Scrum and Kanban methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
  • Knowledge of software development processes and lifecycle.
