Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager for the Cosmetics & Pharmaceutical industry, based in Villeurbanne on a permanent contract reporting to our Operations Director, Micaela.

Your mission will be to manage process-related activities and site execution for client projects. Please note that regular travel will be required for this role.

🔎 Your Responsibilities

As part of the Health & Care Department, you will oversee the full execution of client projects and ensure successful delivery.

  • Act as the main point of contact for the client, supporting them throughout the entire project lifecycle, from tender phase to final delivery
  • Guarantee the quality of installations delivered, lead feedback sessions, and contribute to best practice improvements
  • Analyze process performance issues, including:
    • Conducting full audits
    • Developing action plans with economic studies
    • Monitoring implementation at client sites
    • Preparing and deploying method sheets
  • Prepare cost estimates
  • Contribute to process safety and food safety improvements
  • Assist in resolving manufacturing issues related to processes
  • Manage projects and engineering activities during pre-project and execution phases, including:
    • Technical audits and improvement plans (compliance and upgrades)
    • Process performance optimization, machine or production line retrofits

Qualifications

🧰 Profile Required

You hold a Master’s degree (Bac+5) in a scientific or process-related field and have experience in continuous improvement management, ideally with initial experience in project management, either as a service provider or internally within the pharmaceutical and/or cosmetics industries. For this position, we are looking for candidates with at least 7 years of experience in a similar role.

To succeed in this role, you will need knowledge of process safety, qualification and validation, and regulatory requirements.

Proficiency in one or more technical areas would be an advantage: hydraulics, electrotechnics, fluid mechanics, or mechanical engineering.

Soft Skills

Behavior matters as much as experience.

You are rigorous, autonomous, and adaptable, with strong organizational skills and a genuine team spirit.

The ability to manage priorities and communicate effectively are essential qualities for this position.
