Job Description

Your team : 

For its Basel office, ARTELIA Industry Switzerland SA is seeking a Senior Project Manager for the realization of industrial projects with experience in the chemical and pharmaceutical sectors.

 

Your role : 

Reporting to the office director, you will be involved in projects for new installations or improvements to existing units. In this context, your responsibilities will include:

  • Monitor projects (planning, choice and validation of technical project directions, purchases on projects under project management, financial monitoring of projects, offers, etc.)
  • Be the local contact for customers
  • Project and team manager
  • Write technical notes, financial estimates and project schedules
  • Actively participate in the design processes of projects
  • Be responsible for quality and HSE policy
  • Carry out business reviews
  • Lead Business Development activities
  • Assist the office director in developing the office's activities in the Basel area (BS, BL, AG, SO)

Qualifications

Your assets : 

  • Engineer from HES, EPF or equivalent (preferably in the field of chemistry or pharmaceuticals)
  • PMP or IPMA certification is an asset
  • Strong experience in project management, Minimum 10 years' experience in engineering or EPCM project management with a project size of up to 50,000 hours, in industrial engineering in the chemical and/or pharmaceutical sector, or other process industries.
  • Personal qualities: Strong management potential / Industrial culture / Ability to monitor project management with a view to ensuring technical and economic success / Negotiation skills / High level of rigor / Able to apply ISO 9001 and MASE quality procedures and ensure safety on sites or at customers' premises / Good interpersonal and technical negotiation skills with customers and suppliers.
  • Open to prospecting activities
  • Proficiency in common office tools (Office Suite, Project)
  • Languages: Fluent German required; French and/or English level B2 required.
  • Motivated to take on a versatile and evolving position
