Summary

Consult clients on business goals, objectives, and needs as they relate to Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and other system needs. Expertise and work efforts focus primarily on implementing JD Edwards EnterpriseOne software. Work directly with clients to provide needs assessment, installation, set-up, implementation, training, and consultation services. Occasional travel to client sites will be required.

 

Job Duties 

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the JDE Applications support team, ensuring consistent, high-quality service delivery across all customer environments.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to align technical services with organizational goals and JDE best practices.
  • Manage a globally distributed team, providing mentorship, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities to foster a high-performing, collaborative culture.
  • Ensure timely and effective resolution of incidents, service requests, and technical issues, maintaining compliance with SLAs and customer expectations.
  • Oversee proactive health monitoring, performance tuning, and system optimization to ensure stability and efficiency of JDE environments.
  • Lead and coordinate mid to large-scale technical initiatives, including system upgrades, integrations, automation efforts, and environment refreshes.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customer escalations, providing clear communication, technical guidance, and building long-term trusted relationships.
  • Identify opportunities for operational improvements and automation to enhance service delivery, reduce risk, and increase efficiency.
  • Work closely with engineering, product, and customer success teams to align technical services with broader business objectives and customer needs.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), team productivity, and service quality metrics to senior leadership.
  • Ensure adherence to internal policies, industry standards, and JDE governance and security requirements.
  • Stay current with JDE technologies and industry trends, promoting innovation and continuous improvement within the team.
Requirements

 Education/Experience

  • Four-year degree in Business or related field, required. Graduate degree, preferred.
  • 7+ years of functional JD Edwards implementation experience in modules requested, required.
  • Experience with EnterpriseOne current versions, required.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

This job is remote but may operate in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment

Travel

This position requires up to 50% travel. Travel is frequently outside the local area and overnight, typically Monday – Thursday away from home.

  • International travel may be required.
  • Must be able and willing to travel occasionally via air and/or automobile.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.

  • Employees will be required to complete walking tours of client facilities, including manufacturing plant and shop floors.

The estimated base rate range for this position: $150,000.00 - $175,000.00 per hour. The actual hourly range is based on fair market value based on your geographical location, skills, role requirements, and responsibilities. This position also offers a variable bonus based on company and individual performance and employee stock options. This posted compensation is a good faith and reasonable estimate. Denovo reserves the right to adjust this range depending on the selected candidate's qualifications.
