Job Description

As Senior R&D Project Manager, you will lead and coordinate complex R&D projects within Philips Image Guided Therapy Systems (IGTS). You are responsible for the successful delivery of project results by driving cross-functional collaboration and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. You’ll play a vital role in shaping the future of minimally invasive treatments by bringing innovative solutions to the market.

Your role:

  • You will make a direct impact on patient lives by delivering high-quality, innovative image-guided therapy systems that enable minimally invasive diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular, oncological, and neurological conditions.

  • You will be part of the R&D Project Management Office (PMO) within the IGT Systems business, working closely with the IGT Head of R&D PMO, and collaborating across functions including engineering, quality, procurement, customer service, operations, and regulatory.

  • This role offers a unique opportunity to lead high-complexity, high-impact projects, coach and develop project and program managers, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our project management practices.

You're the right fit if:

  • You have over 15 years of experience in project management, including >5 years in regulated medical device environments with complex, make-to-order products

  • You bring strong leadership, stakeholder management, and resource management skills, and have a technical affinity with software and hardware systems.

  • You hold a master’s degree or higher and are fluent in English.

  • You’re a proactive, data-driven problem solver with a passion for quality, process optimization, and driving change in a cross-functional setting.
