- Minimum of a B.Eng. degree in Petroleum Engineering or related engineering discipline.
- Minimum twelve (12) years oilfield experience with at least ten (10) years of working experience as Petroleum Engineer or Production Technologist.
- Experienced in day-to-day production optimisation and various artificial lift systems.
- Advanced user in Petroleum Experts IPM suite of modelling tools (GAP, PROSPER, MBAL, PVTp, RESOLVE).
- Experience in brownfields FDP/FFR, production chemistry, PVT modelling, sand control/management design, conceptual completion design, tubing stress analysis, cased-hole log interpretation.
- Excellent understanding of flow dynamics, near wellbore damage behaviours and flow assurance in relations to any FDP/FFR development project.
- Experience in the preparation of the Field Development Plan (FDP) documentation for review and approval by the respective stakeholders.
- Experience in conducting technology screening and ability to challenge existing design and well operational processes in order to apply best technologies and practices / minimize operating costs.
- Possess working knowledge of well integrity, HSE monitoring and tracking.
- Flexible and pro-active attitude, a good team player, willing to provide coaching and mentoring to junior engineers.
- Outstanding communicator, good organizational, multi-tasking capability, interpersonal and presentation skills and thorough command of the spoken and written English language.
