Key Responsibilities:
- Monitoring security access
- Maintain access controls based on a predefined policy
- Security and risk assessments (applications and systems as part of EWASP)
- Auditing of systems internally/externally
- Run vulnerability scans on workstations, servers, and VDI environments and make recommendations to improve security
- Analyzing security breaches to identify the root cause
- Incident response
- Verifying the security of third-party vendors and collaborating with them to meet security requirements
- Perform related duties as required or assigned
Requirements
- Level 4 (7-10 years of exp)
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Engineering, Computer Security, Information Systems, or related field. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
- You are able to communicate complex security issues and risks in a clear, concise manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- You possess knowledge of application security principles, frameworks, and technologies such as: Azure, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Fortinet (Firewall rules), Microsoft defender, Server 2019, Windows 10/11, Apple iOS
- 6-9 years of experience in an application security role
- You are able to communicate complex security issues and risks in a clear, concise manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Understanding of best practices surrounding: MFA, intrusion prevention, spam filters, local security policy, default domain policy, default domain controller policy and server hardening
- You have excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and act tactically.
