To start as soon as possible, full time, permanent
RWE is building Denmark’s largest offshore wind farm. Thor offshore wind farm will be built 22 kilometres off the coast of Thorsminde on the west coast of Jutland with a capacity of more than 1 GW. 72 units of Siemens Gamesa’s flagship SG 14-236 DD offshore wind turbines are planned to be installed. Once fully operational in 2027, Thor will produce green electricity to more than 1 million Danish households.
Task of the role
Your main responsibilities will be maintenance and troubleshooting on HV systems for the substations located on – and offshore, the offshore wind turbines and export cables. You will have the daily responsibility for the safety within your area and will support an incident free culture.
During the construction phase of the wind farm, you will support the commissioning team with specific tasks linked to electrical safety, familiarization with the electrical equipment, and will be supporting the commissioning team with day-to-day tasks.
When construction is finalized, you will be a part of the production and maintenance team with close collaboration with the HV manager. Your base will be Thorsminde and rotation is planned for 1 week on/off with accommodation facilities provided if required.
