Role and Responsibilities
- Onsite presence at supplier manufacturing location to support product development, testing and verification at supplier site.
- Coordinate, supervise, manage and monitor all manufacturing activities / processes with suppliers and Nordex internal stakeholders to ensure stable product quality and process capability.
- Risk identification and mitigation during early phase of product realization phase with ENG.
- Follow up the First Sample and Prototype products homologation process according to Nordex procedures / APQP4Wind.
- CI activities from Quality Excellence viewpoint with suitable tools, such as 8D, audits, LPA, FTR, etc.
Tasks:
- Deeply involvement in product development phase with output from product design verification, such as PFC, PFMEA, QCP, WI, CTQ/CTP/CTS, etc. according to APQP4Wind method.
- Closely monitor product manufacturing process in workshop according to Nordex and supplier’s internal requirements at homologation phase (First sample / Prototype and 0-serial phase)
- Analyze the process capability before Serial Production and take preventive actions.
- Incident / NCR identification and resolution with supplier independently from all angles:
- Documentation and on-site,
- All processes from incoming to each manufacturing processes and testing and final inspection and delivery)
- 8D method to solve from RCA and drive back to PFMEA, QCP and WI, …
- Closely communication with internal stakeholders, particularly ENG, Sourcing to have a general and detailed view of supplier performance at an early stage.
- FTR for critical processes and identify the potential improvements at supplier side.
- Good reporting and alignment with internal stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Good experience in quality management system, ISO 9001.
- Good understanding and implementation of PPAP / APQP(4Wind), 8D, RCA.
- Good English speaking, writing.
- Convincing manner and excellent communication skills towards internal and external.
- Good and at least 3 years’ experience in:
- Mechanic:
- Good background for gearbox or (slew) bearing.
- Good knowledge of the general and critical control points for the mechanical assembly.
- Good knowledge of steel material (material, forging, heat treatment).
- Strong knowledge of machining.
- Good understanding and working under cross-culture background or experience.
