Survey Project Manager

RETTEW is seeking an energetic and goal-oriented Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) or Surveyor-in-Training (S.I.T.) with 5–10 years of experience to join our Planning & Design – Survey/GIS Team. In this role, you’ll manage survey projects from start to finish, lead field and office teams, and ensure the highest quality in deliverables. If you have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive both independently and collaboratively, we’d like to meet you.

Location: Berwyn, Allentown, or Lancaster, PA
Work Environment: Hybrid – Three days in-office

What You’ll Do

• Prepare project budgets, proposals, and technical reports; review and certify completed survey work (a plus).
• Supervise boundary, topographic, and construction layout surveys.
• Conduct research and prepare calculations for field crews.
• Provide clear direction to field and office staff, including on-site management.
• Prepare final survey maps and land boundary descriptions to industry standards.
• Manage projects from initial fieldwork to final deliverables.

What You’ll Bring

• Current PA PLS license or S.I.T. actively pursuing licensure.
• 5–10 years’ experience in Transportation, Land Development, ALTA, Boundary, Topographic, Construction, or Utility Surveys.
• Proficiency with GPS, Robotic survey equipment, and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Strong knowledge of surveying principles, practices, and technology.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work in both office and field environments as needed.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
