About the Role
Are you a strategic problem-solver who owns outcomes, not just timelines? 

We’re looking for a Technical Project Manager who thrives on turning customer problems into delivered solutions. You’ll lead cross-functional teams, manage complexity, and bring stakeholders together to deliver measurable value. You're comfortable wearing multiple hats: project manager, relationship manager, and product-minded thinker. 
 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Own customer outcomes: Partner closely with customers to deeply understand their goals and pain points. Take ownership of delivery and drive results that matter. 
  • Lead cross-functional teams: Manage Agile teams across engineering, cloud, data, and product to deliver digital products and platforms. 
  • Champion Agile ways of working: Apply and evolve Agile delivery (Scrum, Kanban or SAFe), tailored to the team and context. 
  • Remove roadblocks: Proactively identify risks and dependencies; work across teams to resolve blockers and keep delivery on track. 
  • Drive accountability: Ensure clarity on scope, progress, priorities, and expectations across delivery stakeholders. 
  • Foster high-trust relationships: Build strong relationships with technical teams, internal stakeholders, and customer sponsors alike. 
  • Contribute to continuous improvement: Lead retrospectives, refine delivery practices, and share learnings across Ascent. 


What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years’ experience in technical project management or Agile product delivery, in digital, cloud, software, or data-driven environments. 
  • Scrum Master (CSM) certification is required. 
  • A background in software engineering, data engineering, or strong experience working closely with such teams, hands on experience is preferred. 
  • Hands on experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban), Agile ceremonies, backlog management, and incremental delivery. 
  • Strong grasp of cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and understanding of modern software delivery practices. 
  • Proven success in building customer relationships, managing competing priorities, and navigating ambiguity. 
  • Exceptional communication skills, able to align cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders, and manage executive reporting. 
  • Commercially astute understanding cost, value, and the balance between scope, speed, and quality. 
  • A self-starter who takes initiative and thrives in a fast-paced, outcome-driven environment. 


Nice to Have 

  • Certifications: SAFe Agilist, SAFe Practitioner, PMI-ACP, or similar. 
  • Experience working with customers and stakeholders in regulated or enterprise environments.
