The Role
This is a fully operational position working across days, nights and weekends, with responsibility for both people leadership and commercial outcomes.
You will:
Be the face of Terrigal Beach House
Lead, engage and support a large team of up to 70 team members
Set the tone on the floor through visible, values-led leadership
Build strong team culture that drives service standards, repeat visitation and revenue
Manage labour effectively to support strong flow-through to GOP
Understand budgets, wage controls and operational panels
Plan ahead for peak periods, events and seasonal trade to protect service and profit
Coach leaders to lift capability, accountability and performance
Build strong relationships with locals and regular guests
Ensure compliance with licensing and venue requirements through consistent leadership
This role is about leading people well, so the business performs well.
About You
You are a leader who:
Has experience in large, high-volume hospitality venues
Is comfortable working weekends and nights
Leads with honesty, integrity and sound judgement
Understands the link between people engagement, revenue and GOP
Builds trust through consistency and clear communication
Is confident managing labour, costs and service delivery at scale
Enjoys developing people and creating future leaders
Is hands-on, visible and calm under pressure
Qualifications & Requirements
Current RSA and ARCG (essential)
Licensee qualifications (highly regarded, not essential)
Strong operational and commercial understanding
Experience leading large teams in fast-paced environments
