We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team at a leading Chrome mining operation in Burgersfort. This is an underground position focused on maintaining and repairing Trackless Mobile Machinery (TMM) to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance, repairs, and inspections on underground TMM equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and implement effective solutions.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and mine regulations.
- Minimize downtime through proactive maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Trade Test Certificate as a Millwright.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in underground mining (Chrome mining experience advantageous).
- Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
- Ability to work under pressure in a challenging underground environment.
- Valid driver’s license and own transport.
