Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) Instructor

JOB PURPOSE

JVM Solutions is hiring Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) Instructors to develop and deliver hands-on and training programs on multiple VRF systems to HVAC technicians in San Antonio, TX. The VRF Instructor will ensure technicians are equipped with the skills needed for routine maintenance and troubleshooting.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

· Develop and implement a monthly training curriculum covering Daikin, LG, Mitsubishi, Trane, and Sanyo VRF systems.

· Conduct in-depth classroom and hands-on training on preventive maintenance and fault identification.

· Prepare and distribute training materials and instructional guides aligned with manufacturer specifications.

· Submit monthly training schedules and training reports to the Contracting Representative.

· Evaluate trainee performance and adapt curriculum based on feedback and results.

· Ensure all training includes practical, job-relevant instruction and aligns with PWS requirements.

· Support maintenance teams by staying informed on the latest VRF system updates and tools.

· Communicate effectively with the Contracting Representative to coordinate training logistics and curriculum alignment.

QUALIFICATIONS

· High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in HVAC, Engineering, or related field preferred.

· Certified HVAC Technician with manufacturer-specific certifications on at least two VRF systems.

· 7+ years of experience with VRF systems in a field service capacity.

· Proven instructional experience in a technical environment (minimum 3 years).

· In-depth understanding of VRF system operation, diagnostics, and maintenance.

· Excellent presentation, communication, and instructional design skills.

· Must be able to tailor training to varied skill levels among technicians.
