We are looking for a Stress engineer with experience in the energy sector. You will join the Stress team being involved in different projects and programs.

 

Your missions will be: 

  • Perform structural and fatigue analyses of wind turbine components, including blades, towers, and nacelles, using finite element analysis (FEA) tools.
  • Assess the impact of dynamic loads, such as wind, gravity, and operational stresses, on turbine structures to ensure safety and durability.
  • Collaborate with design engineers to optimize component geometries and material selections for stress mitigation.
  • Validate structural models through testing and correlation with empirical data.
  • Ensure that designs comply with industry standards, including IEC 61400, and other relevant codes.
  • Document analysis results and provide recommendations for design improvements.
  • Support failure investigations and root cause analyses related to structural issues.
  • Stay updated on advancements in materials science and structural analysis methodologies pertinent to wind energy applications.


Requirements

                                                                                                                                                           

Mandatory skills: 

  • At least 3 years of experience in a sector and equivalent position
  •  Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.                           
  • Spanish C1 Level and Minimum C1 level in English, French would be a plus     
  • Extensive experience with FEA software (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus) and structural analysis tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of materials behavior under cyclic loading and fatigue analysis.
  • Familiarity with international standards and guidelines for wind turbine structural design.
