Konik is partnering with a full-service Architectural and Interior Design firm in Minneapolis, seeking an Architectural Project Manager for corporate and commercial projects. This position offers the opportunity to lead large and complex projects from concept through completion. As an Architectural Project Manager, you’ll oversee project delivery, cultivate client relationships, manage fiscal performance, and guide a talented team of architects and designers. This is a leadership-focused role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about the built environment.

Architectural Project Manager Responsibilities:

  • Prepare project work plans - design intent, scope, process, schedule, budget, and staffing needs
  • Coordinate all project efforts, both administrative and technical
  • Serve as primary client liaison
  • Handle all aspects of contract management.
  • Manage the project design team
  • Participate in architectural design and technical details as required
  • Communicate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and clients
  • Respond to RFI’s, plan review comments, and construction submittals
  • Perform observations during project construction
  • Build and expand client relationships

Architectural Project Manager Qualifications

  • 8+ years of professional experience in an architecture or A/E environment, with a strong portfolio of commercial project work.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in architecture; Architectural Licensure strongly preferred.
  • Proven leadership experience in managing and mentoring teams
  • Deep understanding of the construction process, from predesign through closeout.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and client engagement skills.
  • Highly organized and self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
