Position: Assistant Professor of Nutrition and Nutrigenomics

Manchester University seeks a dynamic educator for a 12-month, non-tenure track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor of Nutrition and Nutrigenomics. The successful candidate will contribute to curriculum development, deliver high-quality instruction, and foster student success while maintaining professional growth and scholarly engagement.
What You'll Do:
Teaching (60%)
- Design, implement, and evaluate didactic and supervised experiential learning (SEL) courses.
- Serve as course coordinator and lead instructor as assigned.
- Develop innovative, evidence-based learning opportunities and assessments.
- Collaborate with faculty to refine curriculum and teaching methods.
- Model professionalism and support continuous improvement in student learning.
Scholarship (20%)
- Engage in scholarly activities including research, publication, and presentations.
- Advance academic knowledge and mentor colleagues and students in research.
Service (20%)
- Participate in faculty governance and committee work.
- Advise students and mentor peers.
- Contribute to program development, community engagement, and professional organizations.
What You'll Need:
- Master’s degree with five years of credentialed Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) experience.
- Active RDN credential and Indiana license (or eligibility).
- Qualifications consistent with appointment at Assistant Professor rank.
- Doctorate in Nutrition, Nutrigenomics, or related field.
- Teaching experience in an ACEND-accredited program.
- Evidence of scholarly activity and commitment to interdisciplinary education.
- Strong communication and teaching skills.
- Ability to adapt to evolving learning environments.
