About the position

We are looking for a Business Development Analyst for VARD Group AS. The Business Development Analyst will support the market and business intelligence, business development and strategy tasks of the company.

The role will be required to work on a variety of activities and projects, including Market Intelligence analysis and reports, business reporting, merger and acquisitions, restructuring and divestment of existing companies in the group, strategy and new business areas.

Duties and responsibilities

Prepare market and business intelligence analysis and/or financial analysis for:

  • Internal reports and business cases
  • Reporting requirements from parent company
  • Company presentations for internal and external purposes

Support the following types of activity:

  • Acquisitions, mergers and green field investment
  • Restructuring/divesting existing companies in the Group
  • Development of new business areas
  • Strategy and change processes in the Group
  • Connecting and staying updated with the local maritime cluster
  • Other administrative tasks and projects as agreed

Who are you?

  • You have higher education within the areas of Finance, Business Development, Project Management or equivalent
  • Advantageous if you have experience from international business or maritime experience
  • Knowledge about the local maritime cluster
  • Experience with business intelligence tools, ex. Power BI
