Position Title: Project Manager – Residential High-End Construction
Compensation: $100-$110K + Bonus 
Location: Wayzata, Minnesota
 (on-site with some travel to job sites as needed)

About The Job:
Lakeside HR Group has been engaged by our client to recruit for a Project Manager to join their talented team. Our client is a premier residential custom builder known for crafting architecturally distinctive homes with a focus on design excellence, quality craftsmanship, and client satisfaction.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced construction professional who is passionate about design, detail, and process. As Project Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in guiding high-end residential projects from concept through completion—ensuring a collaborative experience for clients, design teams, and trade partners alike.
 

Key responsibilities:

  • Coordinate project timelines for design, drawings, and specifications

  • Draft clear and comprehensive project specifications outlining scope, methods, and materials

  • Prepare detailed construction estimates and issue timely purchase orders and change orders

  • Manage invoicing and monthly billing, ensuring financial accuracy

  • Organize and lead subcontractor walkthroughs and internal project huddles

  • Maintain the Design Meeting Schedule and actively manage the Selection Tracker

  • Provide Weekly Project Status Reports, meeting agendas, and detailed notes

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing consistent communication and guidance

  • Attend and participate in monthly Project Manager and Tour & Learn meetings

  • Represent the company at industry events and help nurture key vendor and subcontractor relationships

  • Continuously develop expertise in construction methods and materials
     

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of proven experience managing residential high-end construction projects

  • Professional, efficient, and courteous communicator

  • Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

  • Collaborative mindset and ability to lead cross-functional teams

  • Creative problem solver with a proactive approach
